The Agency introduces personnel (the Agent) to our clients (the Hirer) who contract them directly on a self employed basis.
Whilst every care is taken to obtain the highest references for each person introduced, the Agency does not accept any liability whatsoever for damage or loss caused by personnel hired whether such losses or damages were caused by the presence or the non-presence of the persons introduced.
The Hirer should ensure that their insurances are adequate to cover damage, loss and injuries etc. occurring during the period of employment of persons introduced.
The Hirer is responsible for ensuring that the Agent’s working environment is safe and free from risk. Agents are instructed not to work in hazardous conditions.
All bookings must be made through the Agency. No direct arrangement between our Agents and clients is permissible.
Should the Hirer wish to meet or interview an Agent then a standard minimum booking shall apply. To minimise expense in this regard we suggest that clients allow a suitable period of time to meet the Agent at the start of a booking.
Please note that we do not accept provisional bookings. All bookings are treated as firm and Agents allocated accordingly. Booking fees must be paid in advance of the assignment and are not refundable in the event of cancellation. The Agent’s bill must be settled in full immediately on conclusion of the assignment.
A minimum of 24 hours notice must be given for all cancellations. Later cancellations attract an additional fee of £6.50 payable to the Agent. If an Agent is cancelled upon arrival the cancellation fee plus fares or petrol should be given to him/her at that time.
Bookings for 24th, 25th, 26th & 31st December can be made from November 1st and incur a non-returnable £25.00 deposit. All hourly rates are doubled over these dates.
Late Finishes: After 0100hrs the hourly rate is doubled (Except Christmas dates).
Latest Commencement of Booking: 2100hrs (unless by special arrangement).
Minimum Booking Times:
Please advise the Agency where a child or children of a second family are included for the service of babysitting. We need to know the number of extra children and their ages. This type of booking is charged at time and a half.
The Hirer must inform the Agency at the time of booking of any case of infectious illness in the home so that we may select personnel prepared to work under the circumstances.
